Training Program Objective And Program Learning Outcome

I. Training objectives:

1. General objective

The general objective of this high-quality training program in Civil Engineering - majoring in Civil and Industrial Construction, University of Science and Technology- The University of Danang is to train high-quality human resources with well political, ethical qualities and health; have knowledge, professional practice skills, scientific research and development capacity in the field of civil and industrial construction, serving the demand for socio-economic development of the country and international integration.

2. Detailed objective (POs)

Students after 2 to 3 years graduating from the High-Quality training program in Civil Engineering - Civil and Industrial Construction major will:

  1. Have a well understanding in terms of economics, politics, law and society; basic knowledge of natural sciences and expertise in civil and industrial construction to identify urgent issues in civil engineering and propose the solutions.
  2. Ability to think, analyze and solve problems in the field of civil and industrial construction; ability to test, research and evaluate issues related to basic construction; ability to work independently, high adaptability, system thinking, self-study to improve qualifications and start a business;
  3. Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to communicate in English at work; proficient in information technology to meet professional work and relevent fields;
  4. Ability to assess the impact of construction technical solutions, design and construction of civil and industrial buildings on the environmental, economic and social conditions.
