1. Programme Information
1.1. Aim and Overview
This 5-day workshop provides participants with a structured approach to design curricula to provide a holistic and integrated learning experience. The workshop supports mainly Standard 2 (CDIO Syllabus), Standard 3 (Integrated Curriculum), Standard 7 (Integrated Learning Experiences) and Standard 11 (Assessment).
The workshop comprises of Identifying the graduate attributes, identifying personal and interpersonal skill sets, conducting gap analysis, mapping of skillset and redesigning the university curricula aimed at developing selected skills.
1.2. Programme Objectives (Deliverables)
At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:

Identify personal and interpersonal skills applicable to their programs

Conduct a gap analysis to map CDIO skills with existing programmes
-
Design appropriate learning outcomes for the selected skills
-
Infuse selected CDIO skills into existing programmes
-
Identify a range of learning designs and activities and assessments for developing selected skills
1.3. Course Participants and Requirements

The workshops are targeted at the following groups of participants:

The programme participants must have completed Component 1: CDIO Teaching and Learning Framework

Participants should have a basic foundation in English to facilitate understanding of the workshop presentations and learning activities.

Some of the participants will be trained to be Specialist Master Trainers, who shall then train the next tier of programme participants
