Faculty of Transportation Mechanical Engineering was honored to welcome the visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc

On 24 February, 2017, the Engine and Vehicle Test Center (AVL) of the Faculty of Transportation Mechanical Engineering, Da Nang University of Technology was honored to welcome the government delegation led by the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Minister of Education and Training, and other leaders.

Prior to this visit, the delegation was having formal meetings university with the administrators, leaders of departments, and faculties. During the meeting, the Prime Minister praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the lecturers and students over the past 40 years. The university has shown an excellent training quality, showing that the graduate students have jobs at the rate of 92%. Importantly, there are more than 50 % of the lecturers who own the doctorate degrees. The Prime Minister hoped that the faculties leaders will unite, striving to bring the university’s brand name to be well known not only within the country but in the Southeast Asia. The Prime Minister hoped the university to become an excellent provider of human resources in science and technology within the nation and in the region of Southeast Asia.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated Da Nang University of Technology for having a roadmap for autonomy in 2018 as well as the university's quality training model. He also commented that this is a good model to draw experiences in the renewal and quality improvement of universities across the country.
