On October 12, 2024, students of the 2021 course of the Faculty of Environment, Danang University of Technology had a very useful field trip to Le Thanh Nghi Waste Transfer Station, located in Danang city.

The trip not only helps students expand their knowledge but also strengthens the connection between theory and practice. This is an important preparation step for the challenges that students will face in their future studies and work.

On November 9, 2024, at the University of Science and Technology, University of Danang (UD), the 4th Conference on Advanced Technology in Civil Engineering towards Sustainable Development, abbreviated as ATCESD 2024, took place. The conference attracted more than 150 delegates who are leading experts and scientists in the field of construction at home and abroad. ATCESD 2024 was jointly organized by 06 Faculties, including: Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction, Faculty of Hydraulic Construction, Faculty of Bridge and Road Construction, Faculty of Environment, Faculty of Project Management, Faculty of Architecture; with the support of 14 sponsors and 04 exhibitors. November with many special events, starting with the VC-NLĐ Traditional Volleyball Tournament to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 2024) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Danang University. The tournament took place in an exciting manner with the participation of teachers from the Faculty of Environment.

On November 15, 2024, a meeting and academic exchange was held with Professor Yamaoka Satoshi of Utsunomiya University, Japan on the field of management and sanitation of urban water supply pipeline systems, with the participation of Director Satoshi Nakazato, representing the enterprise applying and supplying equipment.

On November 17, 2024, at the Military School of Military Region V during the National Defense Education course of K24 students, the brothers and sisters in the Faculty of Environment Youth Union had a meaningful visit and exchange.

And most notably in November, the 42nd ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAMESE TEACHERS' DAY 20-11 took place with the presence of partner businesses, former teachers, and school leaders. November 20 is not only an occasion to show gratitude but also an opportunity for teachers and students, generations inside and outside the Faculty to meet, share and spread good values.

In addition, on the morning of November 20, 2024, at the University of Science and Technology - UD, the flower arrangement contest called "Hoa Hien Chuong" took place enthusiastically, as part of a series of activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day. The Faculty of Environment's LCĐ excellently won the second prize of the contest.

Ending with a promising cooperation event between the Faculty and the Institute of Environment. On December 12, 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the Faculty of Environment, Danang University of Technology and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Protection in the Central region took place successfully.

The signing of the MOU creates conditions for the two sides to cooperate in joint research, sharing resources of facilities, laboratories, libraries and research documents, Teaching and training, Application and technology development as well as creating conditions for students of the Faculty of Environment to do internships and implement Capstone projects at the Institute.

Faculty-level scientific seminar

On the morning of December 23, 2024, at the office of the Faculty of Environment - University of Science and Technology, University of Danang, a Faculty-level scientific seminar took place with 02 topics:

- Report 1: "Research on the current situation and propose solutions for solid waste and hazardous waste management at Danang University of Science and Technology" presented by MSc. Hoang Ngoc An. The content focuses on assessing the current status of management of the above-mentioned types of waste within the scope of the University of Science and Technology, analyzing problems and proposing sustainable and effective solutions to optimize the process of waste collection and treatment.

- Report 2: "Life cycle assessment of products on water systems", presented by PhD. MSc. Mai Thi Thuy Duong. Analyzing environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of water system products, and proposing innovative solutions to minimize negative impacts on the environment.

On the morning of December 25, 2024, at the Office of the Faculty of Environment, a meeting of the Council for Education Quality Assurance of the Faculty of Environment was also held, chaired by Dr. Nguyen Dinh Huan - Head of the Faculty of Environment, Chairman. The meeting emphasized the effectiveness of teaching and ensuring the output quality of the courses undertaken by the Faculty of Environment's staff and lecturers, especially the method of guiding students in carrying out subject projects and graduation projects.
