STUDENTS OF FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENT - DANANG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY VISIT TRASHES TRANSFER STATION

On October 12, 2024, students of the 2021 class of the Faculty of Environment, Danang University of Technology had a very useful field trip to Le Thanh Nghi Waste Transfer Station, located in Danang city. This is an extracurricular activity to help students directly access the management and operation of the local waste collection and treatment system.

During the tour, students were introduced in detail to the process of receiving, sorting and transferring waste from small vehicles to large-scale treatment plants. In particular, students had the opportunity to directly observe the advanced technologies applied at the station, helping to optimize the waste treatment process. Dr. Le Hoang Son, the lecturer in charge of the subject, participated and enthusiastically answered students' questions. The visit was an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of how a transfer station operates, and to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of proper waste disposal. This not only helps raise awareness of environmental protection, but also encourages students to propose creative ideas, apply the knowledge they have learned into practice, and contribute to the development of sustainable environmental solutions. The trip not only helps students broaden their knowledge but also strengthens the connection between theory and practice. This is an important preparation for the challenges that students will face in their future studies and work.
