“How to have a successful internship?” workshop attracted Chemical Engineering students attention

At 6 pm on 30/06/ 2020, at hall F, The University of Da Nang-University of Science and Technology (DUT), “How to have a successful internship?” workshop was co-organized by the Dean of Chemistry Faculty, the Alumni Association of Chemistry, the Fund of Gratitude and Continuity and the Executive Committee of the Union of Chemistry. Besides, the organizers also awarded prizes to collectives and individuals who had excellent prizes in the contest "Color of Faculty of Chemistry".
With the efforts of studying in the lecture hall, the internship time is really meaningful, playing an important role for the growth of students and career opportunities in the future. Understanding that, the organizers of the program brought the students a talkshow "How to have a successful internship?" with the desire to help students get an internship to bring good results, enhance the necessary skills. The program was honored to receive the participation of distinguished guests from the Chemistry Alumni Association, teachers from the Faculty's leadership, teachers from various disciplines and the large participation of You are a student of Chemistry. In particular, the presence of the main speaker of the talk was Mr. Vo Van Huy Hoang - Director of Vinasoy Binh Duong Factory - Vietnam Soymilk Company, was also an alumni of the Electrical Faculty (1989-1994) of Da Nang University of Technology.

In main column of program – “How to have a successful internship?” workshop, Mr. Vo Van Huy Hoang gave students a lot of useful information, practical knowledges based on on his own rich work experience. In addition to the internship contents from the perspective of businesses, schools and students, introducing the organization of a food factory, he also offered advices on job options after graduation and the useful Q&A section.

The program ended in an exciting atmosphere, giving the students motivation and useful advices, helping them to be steadfast in the upcoming extremely important internships. We would like to thank the teachers of Chemistry Faculty and the Alumni Association of Chemistry Faculty for giving us a very meaningful workshop. Thank you for practical knowledge and usefulness from Mr. Vo Van Huy Hoang - Director of Vinasoy Binh Duong Factory. These are valuable advices for us to improve the effectiveness of important internships in our student's life, and to reap success in the next journeys.

In addition, in the opening of the program, the award ceremony of "Color of Chemistry" contest to honor and encourage the excellent videos was also briefly organized. Besides, students who enthusiastically joined the program also received encouraging prizes from Faculty of Chemical Engineering.

It can be seen that students' movement activities always receive encouragement from the Board of Directors and all of Chemistry lecturers, in order to enhance the spirit of solidarity and practice teamwork skills for students.
