FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENT: SEMINAR IN MAY

The Faculty of Environment, DUT successfully organized a scientific conference at the Faculty level on May 7, 2024. The conference was attended by the Board of Deans as well as all teachers in the Faculty of Environment with the chairmanship of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Huan - Dean of the Faculty.
Two main reports were presented at the conference:
1. Characteristics of wastewater from the Surimi process according to organic particle size and nutrient composition (N) - Approach in proposing wastewater treatment technology from seafood processing (MSc. PhD. Phan Thi Kim Thuy)
2. Living water quality database and urban lake drainage basin planning and wastewater collection of Phu Loc River (Dr. Tran Ha Quan).

The conference took place enthusiastically with two discussion sessions focusing on the following contents:
• Analyze in detail the characteristics of wastewater from the Surimi process, thereby proposing appropriate treatment solutions.
• Assess the quality of living water and urban lakes in the drainage basin and wastewater collection of Phu Loc River, and propose measures to protect the water environment.
By conducting seriously and effectively, giving opinions and discussing environmental issues of the two topics contributes to improving the quality of research and promoting looking at the problem from many different angles. together.
The Faculty will also continue to organize more high-quality scientific conferences, contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research.
