A seminar on employment opportunities in chemical engineering is organized by the Faculty of Chemical Engineering

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Science and Technology, and TORRECID Corporation organized a seminar on job opportunities in Chemical Engineering on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 9:00 in the Conference room area E, University of Science and Technology, the University of Danang. TORRECID is a multinational corporation operating in the field of manufacturing, supplying materials and technology in the ceramic industry.

The seminar was attended by students who are currently enrolled in their fourth and fifth years of study at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Science and Technology, majoring in Silicate and Polymer Chemical Engineering, as well as Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Dung, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Lan, a representative of the TORRECID Vietnam Company.

The seminar provides chemical engineering students with an excellent opportunity to gain the knowledge they need about the TORRECID corporation in particular as well as a broad understanding of the operations and working conditions of multinational corporations in general. The seminar was very exciting, bringing a lot of benefits to students about job opportunities, and helping them understand more about their job orientation after graduation. The seminar was successful and ended at 10:30 on the same day.

Hopefully, similar seminars will be regularly organized in the future to form a solid link between academia and industry, improving job prospects for Chemistry faculty students at prestigious European businesses and corporations like TORRECID.
