Main research directions

The research orientation of Food Technology Division focuses on the following areas:

- Extraction of high added value biological compounds from by-products and residues of agricultural, industrial and fishery processing.

- Extraction of bioactive compounds from natural sources for development of functional food products.

- Development of high value added product from agricultural local products.

- Food quality and safety.

- Enzyme technology.
