In the framework of implementing the cooperation program signed between HONEYWELL UOP Company and University of Science and Technology, The University of Danang, the DUT leaders worked with the Company's leadership representative at Hall A in the afternoon of December 07th 2022. In addition, the Company also awarded scholarships of HONEYWELL UOP to 03 students in Petroleum Engineering - Faculty of Chemical Engineering in this meeting.

Attending the meeting, on the side of DUT there are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quang Vinh - Rector of the University and representatives of Department of Science and Technology and International Cooperation, Department of academic affair, Faculty of Chemical Engineering; Lecturers of Petroleum Engineering division. On the side of HONEYWELL UOP, there are Dr. Linda Shi CHENG - Director of Research and Development of Honeywell UOP; Dr. Zhihao Fei - Director of Research and Development in China and Southeast Asia; Mr. Peerasak Gamonsugosol - Director of Honeywell in Thailand and Vietnam; Mr. Han Minh Ha - Head of Personnel department of Honeywell in Thailand and Vietnam; and Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen - Chief Accountant of Honeywell UOP.

In March 2022, DUT and Honeywell UOP Company, a multinational company in the field of petroleum and petrochemical signed a cooperation agreement on the scholarship program and specialized internship scholarships at the headquarters Honeywell UOP in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA through the Division of Petroleum Engineering, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. Through this program, students of Petroleum Engineering have an opportunity to receive scholarships and Honeywell UOP will interview candidates to select 01 best candidates and provide scholarships 02 months of professional internship at the company's headquarters.
In the field of Training:
At the discussion, the Company will consider sending experts to teach some topics related to the training program of the oil technology and oil exploitation sector.
