After many academic exchanges and official working sessions, on 31/08/2016 at the University of Science and Technology took place the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Academy National Architecture of France and the DUT. On the side of the DUT was the presence of Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Truong Hoai Chinh and the teachers of the Faculty of Architecture. For the French Academy of Architects, there was Architect Bui Kien Quoc, the permanent representative of the Institute in Vietnam. The main contents of the Agreement include:

1. Co-operation in university training activities, post-graduate training, implementation of joint research topics, co-guidelines.

2. The two sides will prioritize the implementation of projects related to the field of "architecture - environment - society".

3. The DUT is committed to appoint its staff to join with the French National Academy of Architects to undertake scientific research collaboration, conferences related to the field of "architecture - environment - society".

4. The French National Academies of Sciences is committed to supporting the DUT training and enhancing the capacity of its faculty in the areas of architectural planning and design marketing, technical infrastructure, environmental protection, natural landscapes, climate change adaptation, heritage preservation, digital application in urban management and development.
