OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM:
I. Training objectives:
1. General goal
The general goal of the Architecture training program at University of Science and Technology- The University of Da Nang is to train Architects with political qualities, ethics and good health; have knowledge and skills for professional practice, and have the ability to learn throughout life; have creativity and professional responsibility, adapt to the working environment, and have the ability to research and develop the application of science and technology in the field of architecture and planning; has the true intention of serving the community, meeting society's requirements, ensuring national defense, security and international integration.
2. Specific goals(POs)
University of Science and Technology- The University of Da Nang trains graduates with specialized and specific degrees in Architecture:
- Have good understanding of economics, politics, law and society; Complete expertise to solve architectural and urban problems within the framework of sustainable development (UNESCO: Learning to Know);
- Have effective teamwork and independent working skills; ability to communicate and use foreign languages for professional work (UNESCO: Learning to live together);
- Have proficient skills in architectural design and planning; have creative thinking (UNESCO: Learning to do);
- Ability to continuously self-study for professional development; entrepreneurial thinking and leadership; adapt well to changes in the digital economy (UNESCO: Learning to Survive).
II. Output standards (PLOs)
Graduates are awarded an Architect degree from University of Science and Technology- University of Danang in Architecture:
- Ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, basic science, engineering and technology to the field of architecture and planning to meet standards and requirements of health, safety, environment and economics - society.
- Ability to apply complementary knowledge of politics, economics and society in the fields of architecture and planning.
- Able to apply historical and cultural knowledge to professional work.
