Department of Embedded Systems

Introduction

Today, embedded systems appear in many places and are applied in many different areas of social life from devices used in daily life such as TV, refrigerator, washing machine, mobile phone to the technological equipment and high-end facilities such as cars, robots, medical devices, etc.

Based on the needs of the society, IT Faculty has established Embedded Systems Department since 2005. The Embedded Systems Department is responsible for research and teaching of courses related to computer hardware, microprocessor and microcontroller programming, hardware interfacing, mobile and handheld device programming, development of intelligent monitoring and identification systems; as well as promoting research and technology transfer on embedded systems.

Students who pursue Embedded Systems Major are well-equipped with the knowledge to develop handsets and mobile applications, intelligent control systems, building monitoring using sensors, audio and image processing, development of simulation applications and quality assessment systems, etc.

Staff

The Department has 08 lecturers with 03 PhDs, 04 Masters and 01 engineer.
