10 Career Positions Graduates of the specialized integrated Bachelor – Engineer program in Information Technology (Specialty – Enterprise Cooperation) are suited for the following positions:
  • Programmer: software product development (business analysis, software design, software programming, software testing, IT project management, etc.)
  • Network System Administrator: network administration, IT system administration, information security, etc.
  • Information System Administrator: database management, enterprise information systems, data analysis and mining, etc.
  • Lecturer or Researcher in the field of Information Technology.
11 Further Study Opportunities Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for master's degree programs in the same or related fields.

B. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

I. Program Objectives

1. General Objectives

The general objective of the Information Technology (Specialty – Enterprise Cooperation) training program at the University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang is to develop learners with strong political qualities and ethics; scientific and technical knowledge along with professional practical skills; research, application, and development capacity in the field of Information Technology commensurate with their level of training; lifelong learning ability; creativity and professional responsibility, adaptable to business, social, and multicultural, multinational working environments; good health; and a sense of community service, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.

2. Specific Objectives

The University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang trains graduates of the specialized integrated Bachelor – Engineer program in Information Technology (Specialty – Enterprise Cooperation) to:

  1. Possess comprehensive professional knowledge and interdisciplinary scientific and technical knowledge to solve problems in the field of Information Technology;
  2. Have in-depth professional skills; the capacity to research, identify, solve problems, and draw expert-level conclusions in the field of Information Technology;
  3. Be capable of working independently and creatively; able to work effectively in teams as a member or team leader; possess communication skills in multicultural and multinational environments;
  4. Be able to conceptualize, design, implement, and commercialize products; identify and analyze user and enterprise needs in selecting, initiating, integrating, evaluating, and managing computing systems; have an understanding of economics, politics, society, and the environment to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

II. Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the specialized integrated Bachelor – Engineer program at the University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang in Information Technology (Specialty – Enterprise Cooperation) shall meet the Level 7 learning outcome requirements of the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework:

  1. Ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics and science and technology to solve new and complex technical problems in the field of Information Technology, meeting standards and requirements related to health, safety, environment, and socio-economic factors.
  2. Ability to analyze complex computational problems and apply knowledge in programming as well as in related disciplines to design, implement, and evaluate Information Technology solutions.
  3. Ability to think critically, creatively, and entrepreneurially, and to conduct oneself professionally; possessing professional ethics and responsibility.
  4. Ability to adapt and self-direct career development and specialization; ability to absorb and apply new knowledge; use appropriate learning strategies; and possess knowledge-transfer skills.
  5. Ability to work in teams; ability to communicate effectively in international and multicultural environments; foreign language proficiency of TOEIC 600 or equivalent.
  6. Ability to conceptualize, select, design, integrate, evaluate, and manage information technology systems based on analysis of user and enterprise requirements within social and environmental contexts.
  7. Skills to effectively organize, manage, and improve specialized professional activities in the field of Information Technology.
