Training to design outcome-based curriculum

On October 13, 2020, The University of Danang – University of Science and technology held a training session to design program curriculum according to the program learning outcomes at the Conference Hall of Building F.
The session was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lam - Secretary of the University's Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Minh Duc - Vice Rector; training team members and academic staff.
At the training session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Tuan – Director of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance Department presented the process of designing outcome-based curriculum including setting the goals and learning outcomes; identify needs to build objectives and outcomes of program curriculum, thereby design curriculum to meet program learning outcomes.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang – Vice director of Academic Affair Department participated in guiding how to use the forms to build the curriculum to meet the learning outcomes.
The training session also received sharing of experiences from MSc. Huynh Thi Minh Truc on the process of designing program curriculum in Construction Economics and the presentation of Dr. Dang Kim Hoang on the detailed outline of the introduction to and the implementation results of Oil and Gas Process Engineering and oil exploration Technology.
In addtion, attending the training session as a lecturer implementing the project-based-learning model (PBL), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lam, shared with others, valuable experiences in the process of implementing the interdisciplinary project.
The support team also listened to the comments and answers of the questions to handle the issues in the process of designing outcome-based curriculum.
