The University of Danang launched CDIO framework through MOU signing with Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore

“Danang City confirmed that its top priority is always given to high-qualified human resources training which quickly adapt to the general labor market in the ASEAN Community”, emphasized Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People`s Committee, Dr. Dang Viet Dzung at the official signing ceremony of cooperation project on launching CDIO framework (Conceive - Design - Implement - Operate) between the University of Science and Technology – the University of Da Nang and Singapore Polytechnic-SP, which took place in the morning of February 23rd, 2016.

The cooperation project on launching CDIOframework today is an effort of seeking and selection of partners and methods for training quality innovation of UD.
This willcontribute significantly to improving quality of human resources as our country has been in the integration.
“On behalf of theCity’s leaders, I really expect that the signed project today will bring back a talented and qualified human resource to keep pace with the advanced countries in the ASEAN Community and Asia "- said Dr. Dang Viet Dzung, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee.
Dr. Dang Viet Dzung also expressed his thanks to the Board of Directors, the Executive Board of Temasek Foundation, Singapore (the Foundation has agreed to fund the project on launching CDIO framework at the University of Science and Technology - the University of Da Nang in the period of 3 years with the amount of 634, 820 Singapore dollars).
Earlier,the Temasek Foundation, Singapore (in collaboration with some non-governmental organizations) supported Danang City with the projects: Strengthening the management and transport planning; Improvement of capacity for Danang City leadership and officials in carrying out public-private partnership (PPP) transactions; Capacity building for Danang City in the fields of education, health care, urban transport, sewage and garbage treatment, etc.

“One more project related to education field has been officially launched. I believe that this project will contribute positively in improving the quality of human resources of Danang City. The project also helps connect the relationship strongly and asserts the good cooperation of the two countries, the people of Vietnam and Singapore in the past, present and future "- shared Mr. Tan Choon Shian – Rector and CEO Singapore Polytechnic.
