University of Science and Technology though 25 billion VND tuition and 1000 scholarships to support learners.

This support is available to students across the university, including new first-year students to the 2021 course and post-graduate students.
Representative of the University, Assoc. Prof. Doan Quang Vinh – Rector of University of Science and Technology said: In the current Covid19 epidemic, each organization, each family and each individual is facing certain difficulties. To share with those difficulties, the University of Science and Technology Council, Da Nang University, approved a tuition support package of 25 billion VND in the 2021-2022 school year (supporting 5% of the first semester tuition fees for all students including new students in the 2021 entrance course, postgraduate students and no increasing in tuition fees according to the progress) to help students and their families overcome some of the difficulties caused by the pandemic. At the same time, the school also set aside 1000 scholarships to support students due to the impact of Covid-19.
In addition to this support package, the University continues to devoting more than 23 billion VND to scholarship policies, supporting the University's annual study, including: Scholarships for students (more than VND 17 billion/year), Scholarships from businesses, Alumni (more than VND 3 billion/year), Scholarships for students affected by Covid 19 (nearly VND 2 billion/year).
In addition, the University has subsidized activities for students affected by natural disasters such as floods in the Central region (2020-2021 school year is 525,700,000 VND), reduced tuition fees for students of staffs of Da Nang University, supported Lao students, waived 100% tuition fees for students who are positive for Covid-19 to encourage and stimulate learners.
Besides the tuition and scholarship support package, the school also conducted surveys and support for 226 students who were staying in KTX and hostels when Da Nang implemented social distancing throughout the city. Each student is supported with 5 kilos of rice, shrimp noodles, and milk. This is the efforts of the University to promptly support students during the outbreak of the disease, help students stabilize their lives, be assured of studying and comply with the social distancing requirements under directive 16 of Da Nang City.
