Visited and worked at Yokohama National University, Japan

Based on the long-term cooperative relationship between Yokohama National University, Japan (YNU) with Danang University (UD) in general and with Danang University of Technology (DUT) in particular, YNU recently invited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quang Vinh – Rector of the DUT, and Dr.Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation of the DUT to visit and work at YNU from April 1-6, 2019.

During the time at YNU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh had a lot of constant activities and meetings; such as meeting YNU President Yuichi Hasebe and Deputy Director Fumikhiko Nakamura, as well as representatives of YNU's Engineering and Technology Faculties. Some agreements on the cooperation contents have been made as below:

- Strengthen the implementation of the Double Degree program: Started by the Faculty of Construction and then continued with Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical as well as Electronics - Telecommunications.

- Plan for implementing student exchange programs. Specifically, sending senior students to YNU for doing their thesis.

- Exchange and promote cooperation with faculties such as Electricity, Electronics and Telecommunications, Engineering, Shipbuilding, Chemistry, Information Technology. These faculties have strongly cooperated in programs such as Sakura Science, General Experimental Course lectured by YNU professors, exchange programs.

- Expand cooperation with other majors, focusing on shipbuilding.

In particular, introduced by YNU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh also had a meeting with Yokohama City International Cooperation Department. This is a good start for future cooperation opportunities of the DUT - UD.

DUT Rector had meetings with divisions and faculties of YNU

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh and Dr. Le Anh Tuan had a very successful trip to YNU. This visit marked an important milestone for the future cooperation and opens up more directions for cooperation between the two universities.
