More job opportunities in the future for students of the Faculty of Transportation Mechanical Engineering

          Recently, on January 30, Mr. Le Truong Luu, the Provincial Party secretary of Thua Thien Hue, and the Chairman of Thua Thien Hue People's Committee awarded the decision on investment policy of car manufacturing and assembly plant project to Bach Viet Automobile Manufacturing Industry Joint Stock Company. This project is invested and built in Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone (EZ) on an area of 50 ha with a total investment of 2,655 billion VND. The goal of the project is to manufacture and assemble all kinds of cars with up to 9 seats, meet Euro 5 emission standards or more with a capacity of 100,000 vehicles / year and the electric cars will be researched and produced in the near future. It is expected that the project will start construction in the third quarter of 2020 and be completed and put into operation in fourth quarter of 2024. (Source: Investment newspaper).

          In addition, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation wants to build an automobile factory in Binh Dinh. This factory is expected to have a total investment of about 250 million USD with a capacity of 30,000 - 50,000 vehicles / year. (Source: vnexpress.net)

        With the establishment of the two factories above in the future, the employment demand of the Mechanical Engineering industry - Mechanical Engineering and the Industrial Systems Engineering major will be very large.
